Lead Product Designer

Telescope AI is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape our product and brand vision and, just as importantly, to put design at the front of how we win and grow customers.

This role leans toward the commercial side of design. Alongside owning our product and brand experience, you’ll be hands-on in the sales motion: crafting the pitches, proposals, and interactive demos that help us land major brokers and financial platforms. We move fast, so you’ll lean heavily on modern AI design tooling to go from idea to polished concept in hours, not weeks.

What You’ll Do

• Design to Win: Create the pitches, proposals, and clickable demos that help close deals, working closely with our sales and leadership teams.
• Own Product & Brand: Oversee end-to-end design across our platform, web experiences, and brand, keeping everything cohesive and on-message.
• Move at AI Speed: Use AI design tooling such as Figma Make, Google Stitch, and Claude Design to rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship high-quality work.
• Translate Complexity: Turn complex AI and finance concepts into clear, compelling visuals and stories that land with customers.
• Collaborate: Partner with sales, marketing, and engineering to maintain a consistent narrative from first pitch through to live product.
• Raise the Bar: Establish lightweight design frameworks, mentor others, and champion the strategic use of AI across the design process.

Who You Are

• Proven Design Leader: 6+ years in product design, UI/UX, or a related field, with strong product and brand sensibility.
• Commercially Minded: You understand how design wins business, and you’re energised by pitches, proposals, and customer-facing work.
• AI-Native: Fluent (or eager to become fluent) with AI design tooling like Figma Make, Google Stitch, and Claude Design, and you use them to move faster without lowering the bar.
• Skilled Storyteller: Exceptional written and visual storytelling that aligns teams and persuades stakeholders.
• Fast & Adaptable: Comfortable learning new domains quickly and balancing quality with pace in a dynamic environment.
