The prototype is the meeting
When you’re working closely with a broker or trading platform on a new AI feature, there’s a predictable friction point. Discovery workshops are useful. Design mockups are useful. But somewhere between a promising idea and a production integration, the conversation stalls over a static slide deck, with people projecting different mental models onto the same screenshot.
Flow is our answer to that.
The unknown unknowns problem
There’s a framework worth naming here, sometimes called the Rumsfeld matrix. It separates what you know from what you don’t, and then separates what you’re aware you don’t know from what you haven’t thought to ask.

Product discovery tends to live in the top half of that grid. Known knowns: compliance requirements, the instrument universe, existing UX patterns. Known unknowns: whether a feature will lift engagement, how users will interpret an AI-generated basket, whether the interaction model is intuitive.
The harder quadrant is unknown unknowns. In financial services, these are the expensive surprises: the edge case that breaks a jurisdiction’s compliance ruleset, the UX pattern that creates confusion inside a real portfolio view, the assumption that only surfaces when a user actually touches the interface.
Static slides don’t reveal blind spots. Working prototypes do.
What Flow does
Flow is Telescope’s prototyping tool. It takes a concept, whether a new Telescope capability or a rethought version of a partner’s existing UX, and turns it into a working, interactive prototype that a partner team can actually use.
The output is a password-protected link. Not a PDF, not a Figma frame. A real interface that someone at a partner organisation can open on their phone or laptop and interact with directly.
”Integration decisions in financial services have historically moved slowly because the feedback loop is slow. Flow compresses that loop. When a partner can interact with a working prototype of their own UX on day one, with Telescope’s AI capabilities already embedded, the conversation immediately shifts to what actually matters: whether the feature genuinely helps their users, and whether it holds up under compliance scrutiny.”

How we build it
Two tools have made this kind of rapid, agentic prototyping practical. Claude Code is Anthropic’s agentic coding tool, which handles whole implementation tasks autonomously and turns a product brief into working components at a pace that changes what’s achievable in a single day.
Claude Design, which launched April 17, is a collaborative design environment built alongside Claude Code. You describe an interface, import existing design files or a live website, and Claude builds a first version against your design system. The handoff to Claude Code is a single step.
In practice, we take an existing partner interface, map its user journeys in full, and reconstruct the entire UX within Telescope’s stack. Claude Design applies the partner’s visual system. Claude Code rebuilds the interaction layer. Telescope’s AI capabilities, including Insights, Ripple, Confer, and Guardrails, slot in where the product logic lives.
The result is a prototype that isn’t hypothetical. It shows what the partner’s platform could look like with Telescope embedded, in an environment that behaves like their product rather than a generic demo. Their product team, compliance team, and executives can all access it from a single URL with no environment access required.
Where this goes
The longer-term intent is that Flow becomes something our partners can run themselves.
Telescope has already built the compliance infrastructure, AI orchestration layer, and financial data integrations. The work of standing up a prototype, mapping a user journey, rebuilding an interface, validating AI outputs against a real instrument universe, should eventually be something a partner product team can do directly, feeding straight into their own UAT environment.
That removes another layer of integration friction. The loop from idea to testable concept collapses to a handful of agentic steps, and both sides can focus on the things that are genuinely hard: compliance accuracy, user outcomes, and the AI judgements that matter most in capital markets.
